Pretty On Paper is not your traditional beauty blog.
It’s a climate-adaptive wellness journal exploring how our skin, body, and mood respond to the environments we live, travel, and heal in.
I started this blog after realizing that my skin didn’t change because I “used the wrong products,” it changed because my environment changed.
But who am I? And why should you care?
I’m not a dermatologist or medical expert. But I am a former flight attendant who has learned adaptive skincare and beauty hacks from traveling all over the world.
From humid Florida summer air that makes my skin glow, to bitter Minneapolis winters that cracked it overnight, to recycled hotel air that triggered inflammation…I began to see a pattern.
Beauty isn’t static. It’s environmental.
I’m obsessed with studying seasonal skincare, body changes due to weather, inflammatory conditions (HS anyone?!) and how to create rituals that adapt to your environment, not fight against it.
One-size fits all beauty advice is out.
This is beauty for those who want a lifestyle that considers the atmosphere we live in, the water we drink, the air we breathe, and the temperature our skin exists in.
Because what’s traditionally pretty on paper doesn’t matter. What matters is what works in real life, in real climates, on real bodies.
Welcome to beauty by climate, wellness by environment, and lifestyle in rhythm with the weather.
